"Deeper Support Where Needed"... Cheongsong County Allocates 819.6 Billion Won in Fourth Supplementary Budget with Additional 13 Billion Won Injection
As if to bring warmth to the frozen local economy, Cheongsong County has injected an additional 13 billion won.
Cheongsong County in North Gyeongsang Province (Governor Yoon Kyunghee) has submitted its fourth supplementary budget proposal for 2025 to the Cheongsong County Council, increasing the budget by 13 billion won (1.61%) compared to the third supplementary budget, bringing the total to 819.6 billion won.
By accounting category, the general account increased by 15.1 billion won (2.02%) to 762 billion won, while the special account decreased by 2.1 billion won (△3.56%) to 57.6 billion won.
This supplementary budget is the final adjustment for 2025, reflecting changes in national and provincial subsidy projects, reducing the remaining funds from projects that cannot be executed within the year or have been completed, and reinvesting them to ensure the smooth completion of key pending projects.
The main projects reflected in the budget include: ▲ 7.4 billion won for the removal of hazardous trees in damaged forest areas ▲ 2.6 billion won to support crop disaster insurance premiums ▲ 1.5 billion won for forest disaster countermeasures ▲ 1.2 billion won to support recovery from cold damage to fruit crops in March and April ▲ 900 million won for small-scale facility maintenance ▲ 800 million won for the Yongcheoncheon embankment maintenance project in Daejeon-ri, Bunam-myeon ▲ 800 million won for the Singicheon maintenance project in Singi-ri, Pacheon-myeon ▲ 700 million won for the Jinbo Jin-an District Urban Regeneration New Deal Project ▲ 400 million won for remodeling the Sabusil Senior Citizens Center, among others.
