Expansion of Standard Sizes for Non-Coffee Beverages
Lineup Enhanced with Popular and New Drinks
Ediya Coffee announced on December 8 that it will completely overhaul its beverage menu system starting December 16, expanding the sizes of non-coffee drinks and strengthening its menu lineup.
Ediya Coffee has increased the standard size of non-coffee beverages such as milk beverages, tea, and Flatccino from the previous 14 ounces (oz) to 18 ounces. The size system has been unified to match the large size of existing coffee menus, and extra sizes have been introduced for Flatccino and shakes, which were previously offered in only a single size.
With this revamp, the average serving size for non-coffee drinks has increased by approximately 28.6% (from 14oz to 18oz), and the average price per milliliter has decreased by about 16%, providing customers with greater value, according to the company. In particular, the herbal tea menu has increased in volume while maintaining its previous price, further boosting customer satisfaction in terms of value for money.
The menu lineup has also been expanded. Six popular seasonal drinks, which had high demand for re-release, have been added as regular menu items. Additionally, ten new beverages with unique flavors and concepts have been introduced, significantly expanding the non-coffee-focused menu lineup.
The operational system has also been efficiently improved to support stable and convenient store management for franchisees. Recipe standardization and integration of raw and subsidiary materials have ensured consistency in the manufacturing process, while also enhancing inventory management and staff training efficiency.
