[Click eStock] "Obzen Scales Up with Major Deal... Only Profitable Domestic AI Agent Poised for Revaluation"
On December 8, independent research firm ValueFinder analyzed that Obzen is set to become the leading AI data platform company in Korea starting next year, following its successful acquisition of a 100% stake in data analytics and IT consulting firm Jalesia for 27 billion won.
Obzen has major conglomerates in the finance and retail industries as its clients, while Jalesia serves mid-sized and small manufacturing companies, suggesting the potential for significant synergy. No investment opinion or target price was provided.
Lee Choongheon, a researcher at ValueFinder, stated, "Obzen's cumulative sales this year are expected to reach 17.9 billion won, with operating profit at 900 million won, marking its first net profit since listing." He added, "While global companies such as Microsoft, OpenAI, and Google are leading the global AI agent market, Obzen is the only domestic company currently posting a profit."
He further analyzed, "With this merger and acquisition, the company is positioned for external growth, making a corporate revaluation highly likely."
