Mongolian Volleyball Star Inku-shi Appointed as "Honorary Ambassador of Hope Jeonnam Education"

The Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education appointed Inku-shi, a volleyball player from Mongolia, as the "Honorary Ambassador of Hope Jeonnam Education" on December 5. Inku-shi will serve as a mentor to Jeonnam students, delivering dreams and hope as a symbol of multicultural understanding and international exchange.
During the appointment ceremony, Superintendent Kim Daejung and Inku-shi each signed a volleyball. Inku-shi further added meaning to the event by presenting a signed uniform to the education office.

View original imageInku-shi has gained widespread popularity for her growth-oriented character and the nickname "Nepkushi" as a member of the "Pilseung Wonder Dogs" on the MBC entertainment show "Rookie Coach Kim Yeon-koung."
She began playing volleyball as an elementary school student in Ulaanbaatar and came to study at Mokpo Girls' Commercial High School in 2022, where she excelled. After standing out in national competitions with her powerful serves and stable receives, she joined the Mongolian league team "Enakori Monti."
She was selected as an All-Star for two consecutive seasons, 2023-2024 and 2024-2025, establishing herself as a star player. Going forward, Inku-shi plans to participate in a variety of activities, including promoting Jeonnam education, mentoring students, campaign initiatives, and glocal exchange programs.
Superintendent Kim Daejung said, "I am delighted to appoint Inku-shi as an honorary ambassador who will deliver hope to Jeonnam education and our students," adding, "I hope she will become a mentor who nurtures the dreams and challenges of our children."
