Under this agreement, Hanwha Vision and Hanwha Semitec have committed to building a proper culture for disposing of waste electrical and electronic equipment, minimizing the use of disposable products, and establishing a paperless organizational culture.
As the first action under the agreement, the two companies conducted a 'Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Collection Campaign' for employees at the Pangyo R&D Center from December 1 to 3. A total of 920 kg was collected, resulting in a reduction of approximately 2,530 kg of greenhouse gas emissions. The collected items were gathered by the nonprofit public interest corporation E-Circulation Governance for recycling. Employees who participated in the campaign received coupons for cafes near the Pangyo R&D Center.
