Financial Supervisory Service to Hold Explanatory Session on K-IFRS Amendments and Revisions
Guidance on Accounting Standard Amendments, Q&A Case Studies, and More
The Financial Supervisory Service announced on December 3 that it will hold an explanatory session on the "2025 Korean International Financial Reporting Standards (K-IFRS) Amendments and Revisions" for corporate accounting practitioners and external auditors at the auditorium on the 2nd floor of its headquarters on December 10.
During this session, the agency will provide guidance on accounting standard amendments, Q&A case studies, and international trends related to accounting standards. It will also cover accounting system topics, including internal accounting management systems, operating guidelines for current and previous period councils, and the appointment and designation system for external auditors.
Participants can register through the websites of the Korea Listed Companies Association, the Kosdaq Association, and the Korean Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Educational materials will be distributed on-site starting 30 minutes before the session begins. They will also be posted on the Financial Supervisory Service website.
A representative from the Financial Supervisory Service stated, "We expect this will provide practical assistance in the preparation and disclosure of financial statements, as well as in conducting external audits and related work."
