At the DP World Tour BMW Australian PGA Championship (total prize money: 2.5 million Australian dollars), which concluded on November 30 at Royal Queensland Golf Club (par 71, 7,085 yards) in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, LIV Golf players secured top positions.

View original imageDavid Puig (Spain) claimed his first DP World Tour victory at this event, finishing 18-under-par with a total score of 266. On the final day, he shot a 5-under 66, beating Ding Wenyi (China), who finished at 16-under-par 268, by two strokes.
Previously, Puig had achieved two wins on the Asian Tour-at the 2023 International Series Singapore and the 2024 Malaysian Open-but had not secured a victory on the DP World Tour. Puig joined LIV Golf in 2022. His best result in LIV Golf was a tie for third at last year's Houston event. He is a member of the Fireballs team, led by Sergio Garcia (Spain). In addition to Puig and Garcia, the Fireballs team includes Abraham Ancer (Mexico) and Jose Luis Ballester (Spain).

Another LIV Golf player, Marc Leishman (Australia), also performed well at this Australian event, finishing tied for third at 15-under-par 269. He was the runner-up at this tournament in 2018. Leishman is a formidable player with six wins on the PGA Tour, as well as one victory each on LIV Golf, the DP World Tour, and the Asian Tour.
