Samsung has donated 50 billion won to the Neighbor Love Fund for the year-end season. Over the past 27 years, the company’s cumulative donations for year-end neighbor assistance have reached 920 billion won.
On December 1, Samsung held a year-end Neighbor Love Fund Donation Ceremony at the Community Chest of Korea headquarters in Jung-gu, Seoul, attended by Kim Byungjun, Chairman of the Community Chest of Korea; Jang Seokhun, President of Samsung Social Contribution; and Seo Junyoung and Park Jongchan, Employee Representatives of the Samsung Electronics Labor-Management Council, among others.
Since making its first year-end donation in 1999, Samsung has continued its year-end neighbor assistance campaign for 27 years, with total donations reaching 920 billion won. From 1999 to 2003, Samsung donated 10 billion won each year; from 2004 to 2010, 20 billion won annually; in 2011, 30 billion won; and since 2012, 50 billion won each year.
Despite an uncertain business environment, Samsung maintained the same donation amount as last year. On this day, the Community Chest of Korea presented Samsung with a plaque of appreciation for its consistent contributions.

Chairman Kim Byungjun stated, "Samsung has continued its meaningful donations this year, reaching a cumulative total of 920 billion won. In particular, Samsung’s social contribution activities are providing a solid foundation for young people to step into a broader world." President Jang Seokhun commented, "Although the business environment remains challenging, Samsung is steadfast in upholding its principle of growing together with society. We hope that the year-end donation will become a beacon of hope for those in need in our community."
Throughout November, Samsung employees participated in a "Donation Pledge Campaign," selecting the CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) programs and donation amounts they will support in 2026. The pledged amounts will be automatically donated from monthly salaries starting next year, and the company will match the donations made by employees. In addition to monetary donations, employees are also engaging in various forms of talent donation activities.
Samsung will distribute 330,000 CSR calendars to employees, produced in collaboration with seven NGOs, including UNICEF, the Blue Tree Foundation, Good Neighbors, and Save the Children. The calendars feature photos of major CSR activities, such as supporting children from vulnerable groups, assisting youth learning, preventing and treating school violence, and promoting social participation for people with disabilities, all conducted in partnership with NGOs.
