Psick Univ X ChildFund Korea to Launch Web Variety Show "Following Friends to Bangladesh"
ChildFund Korea (Chairman Hwang Younggi) announced on November 28 that it will release the web variety show "Following Friends to Bangladesh" every Friday at 6 p.m. for four weeks, starting November 28, through its official YouTube channel.
The web variety show "Following Friends to Bangladesh," featuring the YouTube creators from "Psick Univ," follows comedians Jung Jaehyung and Lee Yongju as they travel through various locations in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, experiencing the city center, markets, slums, and elementary schools.
In particular, Psick Univ adds both entertainment and emotion by visiting "Bridge School," a basic learning space that serves as a bridge for Bangladeshi children who had to stop studying due to financial difficulties, helping them return to their studies and pursue their dreams.
With a focus on the right to education for children, ChildFund Korea began operating three Bridge Schools in Dhaka, Bangladesh in 2018, and now runs nine schools, supporting the education of a total of 1,200 children. However, the program is now at risk of being discontinued due to a budget shortfall.
In the video, Psick Univ meets the Bridge School children who continue their studies while working, offering encouragement and sharing warm support for their dreams and passion.
ChildFund Korea and Psick Univ are launching the participatory campaign "Following Friends to Bangladesh" alongside the video release on the 28th to help ensure the continued operation of the Bridge School in Bangladesh.
The campaign will run from November 28, 2025, to December 26, 2026, on the ChildFund Korea website. Participants can donate to support the ongoing operation of Bridge School and take part in various events.
For the event, campaign participants can leave messages supporting the studies and future of Bangladeshi children. Once 1,000 messages are collected, ChildFund Korea will deliver school supplies to the Bridge School children. Additionally, 130 participants will be selected by lottery to receive limited-edition T-shirts and various prizes. Psick Univ, recognizing the importance of sustaining Bridge School in Bangladesh, donated 10 million won to ChildFund Korea on November 14.
