View original imageThe total project cost for the Wonju Municipal Art Museum is 21.4 billion KRW, including 10.4 billion KRW in provincial funding and 11 billion KRW in city funding. The museum will be a three-story building with a total floor area of 4,843.06 square meters. Completion is targeted for May 2027, with the opening scheduled for the second half of the same year.
Inside the museum, there will be three exhibition halls for professional displays, a storage room, and a curatorial research office. In addition, a caf? and lounge area will be created for citizens to freely use, establishing the museum as a complex cultural and artistic hub for community interaction, beyond just a space for exhibitions.
