Yeongdeok County, in cooperation with Yeongdeok Asan Hospital, has been highly regarded for providing non-face-to-face specialist consultations and medical services using imaging equipment.
In addition, by establishing a "one-stop medical system" where residents can receive prescribed medications immediately after consultations at the health clinic, the county has significantly reduced both the time and cost burdens for residents, resulting in high satisfaction among the local community.
Through these efforts, the Yeongdeok County Public Health Center has been steadily expanding remote collaboration-based services, such as chronic disease management, support for health center vehicles during biannual follow-up tests to prevent complications, and continuous health monitoring, thereby contributing to closing healthcare gaps in the region.
