Haezoo Company Launches 0% Commission Delivery App in Gangnam-gu
Targeting Office Workers and Single-Person Households in Their 20s and 30s
Haezoo Company, which operates the errand app 'Haezoo', announced on the 25th that it has launched the commission-free delivery app 'Deliver for Me' in Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
Gangnam-gu, where the service has just launched, is one of the areas in Korea with high delivery demand due to its concentration of workplaces. 'Deliver for Me' targets office workers in their 20s and 30s as well as single-person households by offering a variety of menus priced under 10,000 won, ranging from the 6,000-won to 8,000-won range, within a 1-kilometer radius of major areas such as Gangnam Station, Sinnonhyeon Station, Yeoksam Station, and Yangjae Station. Deliver for Me set the payment processing fee at 2.9% and the delivery fee charged to restaurants at 1,990 won, which the company explained has allowed restaurants to lower their menu prices.
For takeout orders, an average discount of 2,000 won is applied, allowing orders to start from the 4,000-won range. The company has also ensured fast delivery speeds by focusing on short-distance deliveries during office workers' lunch hours.
In particular, Deliver for Me has built a delivery matching system utilizing artificial intelligence (AI), based on big data accumulated over four years of operating the original errand app, Haezoo. By combining real-time GPS-based immediate matching technology with delivery patterns, regional demand, and order data by time slot, the system assigns the optimal rider and increases delivery speed.
