Ulju County's Customized Senior Care Service Organization Named Nation's Top Performer

Receives Minister of Health and Welfare Award in Evaluation
The "Happy Senior Care Support Platform," the organization responsible for providing customized senior care services in Ulju County, was selected as the top-performing institution in the Ministry of Health and Welfare's "2025 Comprehensive Evaluation Pilot Project for Customized Senior Care Services."
As a result, the organization will receive the Minister of Health and Welfare Award and be certified as an exemplary operational model.
This evaluation targeted 60 institutions nationwide that have operated customized senior care services for more than three years. A comprehensive review was conducted based on criteria such as operational system and management capability, appropriateness of service delivery, project execution competence, and additional merit items.
Through the customized senior care service, Ulju County has provided tailored welfare services to elderly individuals in need of care and seniors living alone, including daily living assistance, emotional support, social participation programs, and local resource linkage. These efforts have been recognized for contributing to the stability of seniors' lives and alleviating social isolation among the elderly population.
The Happy Senior Care Support Platform, selected as the top-performing institution, will receive a commendation from the Minister of Health and Welfare along with a reward of 6 million won.
