Autumn-Themed Camping: "Fun Daejeon Healing Camp" to Be Held
A Two-Day, One-Night Event at Sangsodong Auto Camping Site from November 22 to 23
Plenty of Activities Including Traditional Market Shopping, Camping Cooking Contest, and Healing Music Concert
To promote family-oriented, extended-stay tourism, a series of activities including traditional market shopping, a camping cooking contest, and a healing music concert will be held at the Sangsodong Auto Camping Site, nestled in the mountains during the romantic deep autumn season.
Daejeon City will host the third edition of the "2025 Fun Daejeon Healing Camp" at the Sangsodong Auto Camping Site from November 22 to 23 to invigorate extended-stay tourism.
The "Fun Daejeon Healing Camp" is an accommodation-based program that connects Daejeon's major tourist attractions, traditional markets, and campsites. The first and second editions of the event were held successfully and received high praise from participants for their high level of satisfaction.
This third edition will build on that success, offering an autumn-themed camping program designed for families to enjoy together.
This healing camp will feature a total of 40 family teams, including 20 teams from Daejeon and 20 teams from other regions. Participants will experience local culture and the atmosphere of autumn through a variety of programs such as a traditional market shopping mission, a camping cooking contest, a family talent show, and a healing music concert.
In particular, the traditional market shopping mission is expected to contribute to revitalizing the local economy by linking with local businesses, while the camping cooking contest will showcase the participants' unique and creative recipes.
In addition, emotional programs such as a family talent show and a bubble artist performance are planned to enrich the participants' experience.
Through this event, Daejeon City aims to further expand its extended-stay tourism content and foster a "stay-over tourism city" where tourist attractions and local businesses grow together.
