This video was co-produced with the World Institute of Kimchi to mark "Kimchi Day" on November 22. The 4-minute-and-30-second Korean version was released first, with plans to gradually expand to multiple languages.
The main content of the video highlights how kimchi is evolving beyond a simple fermented food to become a core resource for the future, connecting with various industries such as biotechnology, medicine, and cosmetics.

Professor Seo, who planned this project, stated, "I wanted to convey that kimchi is recognized as a 'global superfood' not only as a representative Korean dish but also for its diverse health benefits, such as anti-obesity and anti-cancer properties."
He also added, "Kimchi is so popular that countries like the United States and the United Kingdom celebrate 'Kimchi Day,' and currently, kimchi is exported to over 90 countries worldwide."
Park Haseon, who provided the narration for the video, said, "I am delighted to introduce the future of kimchi with my voice on 'Kimchi Day,' and I hope many viewers at home and abroad will watch it."
