Under the agreement, Hanil Cement plans to hold blood donation events once each in the first and second halves of next year at its headquarters and major production plants in Danyang and Yeongwol. The company will also actively encourage participation in blood donation at least twice a year at its business sites nationwide. In particular, Hanil Cement has pledged to ensure practical conditions for participation, such as guaranteeing break time for employees who donate blood.
Even before signing this agreement, Hanil Cement had been continuously involved in blood donation. In 2011, Hanil Cement established the volunteer group 'WITH,' composed of all employees and their families, and since 2013 has held blood donation campaigns twice a year. The company has also consistently practiced neighborly love through volunteer activities such as supporting elderly people living alone, serving meals, and delivering coal briquettes.
