Gyeonggi Transportation Corporation announced on November 20 that it held a prize giveaway event on November 19 to celebrate the 'Ddokta' app surpassing 1.5 million cumulative downloads.

It is an integrated transportation platform app that allows users to hail and pay for a variety of mobility options, including Ddokbus, shared bicycles, shared kickboards (PM), and taxis. It also provides real-time operation information for city buses and subways.
Launched in 2023, the Ddokta service has continued to expand its service areas and mobility options, resulting in a steady increase in users. On November 19, the app surpassed 1.5 million downloads, just about 50 days after reaching 1.4 million downloads on September 16.
The winner of the 1.5 million downloads event is a member in their 60s, surnamed Choi, who is a citizen of Uijeongbu. The member said, "I installed Ddokta to use the Ddokbus in Uijeongbu and was delighted to receive such unexpected news," adding, "I will continue to spread the word about Ddokta and Gyeonggi Transportation Corporation to those around me."

In addition, Ddokta received the 'App Award Grand Prize' for three consecutive years on Thursday, November 13, and has won the 'Mobile Award Grand Prize' for two consecutive years, establishing itself as Gyeonggi Province's representative transportation service app. In 2026, the app plans to further enhance user convenience by introducing an optimal route guidance service that goes beyond real-time public transportation information.
