Geumsan Ginseng Manufacturers Sign $1.74 Million Export Agreement at "Dubai Organic Products Expo"
On-site Contracts Worth $219,000 Achieved
Local Buyers Show Interest in Red Ginseng Sticks, Concentrates, Capsules, Slices, and Energy Drinks
Four ginseng manufacturing companies from Geumsan achieved export agreements (MOUs) worth 1.74 million dollars and on-site contracts totaling 219,000 dollars at the "2025 Dubai Organic Products Expo" held at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
Geumsan County has participated in the Dubai exhibition for four consecutive years since 2022, continuously working to pioneer the local market. Prior to this year’s expo, the county sought to identify potential buyers in advance through the Dubai office of the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA).
This year, buyers specializing in distribution and health functional foods from countries including the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Kuwait visited the Geumsan Ginseng promotional booth.
Local buyers focused on the quality and safety of Geumsan ginseng products, expressing interest in items such as red ginseng sticks, concentrates, capsules, slices, and energy drinks. As a result, on-site contracts worth 219,000 dollars were successfully concluded.
Visitors showed a strong preference for stick- and jelly-type products that are easy to consume.
The Dubai Organic Products Expo is the only B2B trade exhibition in the Middle East dedicated to natural and organic products. It featured categories such as food, cosmetics, and household goods. The expo also hosted the VIP Buyer Program, which invited prominent local buyers and arranged one-on-one business matching with participating companies.

Shin Younghee, an official from the Ginseng and Herbal Policy Division, stated, "Through business meetings, many actual contracts and detailed supply discussions took place," adding, "We will further enhance the global reputation of Geumsan ginseng through ongoing local market research and product advancement."
