View original imageOn November 17, Yeongam County held the "Yeongam County Citizens Academy 3rd Term Completion Ceremony" at the Welfare Center for the Disabled, marking the conclusion of this year's educational program.
The Yeongam County Citizens Academy has been operated since 2023 with the aim of strengthening local residents' capabilities and promoting a culture of lifelong learning. The 3rd term, held this year, consisted of a total of 20 sessions from March to November. Lectures covered a wide range of topics, including humanities, self-development, and understanding of local culture, providing residents with opportunities to acquire new knowledge and add vitality to their lives.
At the ceremony, the 3rd Term Alumni Association of the Yeongam County Citizens Academy donated 1 million won to the Yeongam County Future Education Foundation's Talent Development Fund, further adding meaning by sharing what they had learned.
