Man in His 30s to Be Transferred in Custody for Illegally Filming Female Students While Running Snack Shop Near Elementary School
A man in his 30s who operated a snack shop in front of an elementary school and illegally filmed elementary school students will be handed over to the prosecution while in custody.
The Mapo Police Station in Seoul announced that on the morning of November 19, they plan to transfer Mr. A, a man in his 30s, to the prosecution in custody on charges including violation of the Act on the Protection of Children and Youth against Sexual Offenses (production of sexually exploitative material).
According to the police, Mr. A is accused of illegally filming the bodies of more than 10 female students while running a snack shop in front of an elementary school in Mapo-gu, Seoul.
The police launched an investigation after receiving a report from a parent on August 31 and found hundreds of illegally taken photos of female students' bodies on Mr. A's mobile phone.
