Consistent Donations to the Red Cross Through the "Love Donation Campaign" Since 2012
Regional airline Air Busan has achieved another meaningful milestone.
The company received the 'Honorary Medal,' a member merit award presented by the Korean Red Cross to individuals and organizations that have contributed to community service. This is not just a simple commendation, but the result of over a decade of consistent charitable efforts.

Even amid the highly volatile aviation industry, these uninterrupted donations symbolize Air Busan’s organizational DNA of fulfilling its corporate social responsibility.
Given that the Korean Red Cross specifies "the practice of humanitarian values and contributions to resource generation" as criteria for selection, this Honorary Medal signifies that Air Busan’s activities have become established as a social system, rather than just simple sponsorships.
Air Busan’s social contributions extend beyond in-flight fundraising. The company has also run donation programs tailored to local needs, including special relief funds for wildfire victims in the Yeongnam region, support for underprivileged groups and children, and assistance for local veterans’ families. As a regionally based airline, Air Busan has embodied the principle that "sustainable growth is only possible when growing together with the community."
An Air Busan representative stated, "This award is a meaningful achievement that recognizes Air Busan’s sincere efforts to coexist with the local community," adding, "We will further strengthen our community-focused social contribution activities and do our best to give back the love and support of our customers to society."
