Sacheon City Receives Government Awards and Governor's Commendations on the 30th Farmers' Day

Farmers in Sacheon City, South Gyeongsang Province, elevated the status of local agriculture by receiving government awards and governor's commendations on the occasion of the 30th Farmers' Day.
On the 13th, Sacheon City announced that at the commemorative ceremony for the 30th Farmers' Day of South Gyeongsang Province, held at the Changwon Convention Center, one person received the Proud Farmer Award (Governor's Award) and two people received the Governor's Commendation.

View original imageMoon Seongil, a farmer from Yonghyeon-myeon, received the Proud Farmer Award in the Creative Development category. Farmer Moon was recognized for developing an emergency actuator with an open/close mechanism that operates reliably even in urgent situations, thereby promoting safety and smart technology in agriculture. He was also acknowledged for sharing the related technology with local farmers and contributing to creative development in agriculture.
Kim Changdeok, Secretary General of the Gonyang-myeon Agricultural Management Association, and Park Jaewoo from the Technical Support Division, received the Governor's Commendation for their efforts in advancing agriculture and rural communities.
Kim Joungki, Head of the Saram Agricultural Cooperative, was awarded the Prime Minister's Award. This award was presented separately at the central Farmers' Day event hosted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs in Wonju City on November 11.
