'Advanced Defense Drone Festival' to Be Held at Bubal Sports Complex in Icheon on November 20-21
Over 30 Companies to Participate
A Wide Range of Products Including Surveillance and Loitering Munitions on Display
An event showcasing the latest drones will be held in Icheon, Gyeonggi Province, on November 20 and 21.
The city of Icheon will host the "2025 Advanced Defense Drone Festival" at the Bubal-eup Sports Complex over two days, November 20 and 21.
Under the slogan "Showcase and Take Off - Witness the Future of Drones Up Close," this inaugural event will feature participation from leading domestic and international drone companies, presenting cutting-edge drone technologies across various sectors including defense, industry, and logistics.
At the festival, 30 companies from Korea and abroad will operate more than 50 booths, exhibiting a wide range of products and technologies such as surveillance and reconnaissance drones, loitering munitions, anti-drone systems, and multifunctional drones. Application technologies for defense, firefighting, and delivery will also be demonstrated.
The venue will also offer hands-on programs for visitors, including drone soccer, drone delivery demonstration experiences, and drone assembly and flight training.
Through this festival, the city aims to establish an advanced drone industry ecosystem, strengthen its industrial network, and expand cooperation between businesses and military units, positioning Icheon as a hub city for the drone industry.

Icheon Mayor Kim Kyunghee stated, "The drone industry is a key sector for future advanced industries," adding, "This festival will serve as a catalyst for Icheon to become a center for technology demonstration and industrial cooperation."
