The curriculum is structured to enhance understanding of artificial intelligence in public administration, strengthen data-driven policy-making capabilities, develop AI-based decision-making skills, support AI transformation in the industrial field, and cover essential topics such as AI law, systems, and ethics necessary for AI administration.
In collaboration with the AI Corporate Training Center at Seoul National University, professors specializing in the field of AI will participate to cover key topics in essential areas, including the latest AI technologies, AI and public innovation, and AI ethics and international norms.
Dong-yeon Kim, Governor of Gyeonggi Province, stated, "As the primary partner in advancing toward becoming one of the world's top three AI powerhouses, Gyeonggi Province will continue to strengthen the AI capabilities of the public sector, starting with senior public officials, through comprehensive AI education that encompasses data, infrastructure, talent, and systems."

Gyeonggi Province expects that senior public officials participating in the training will strengthen their capabilities as leaders of local government AI administration in the era of national AI transformation, and gain extensive knowledge about policy-applied AI such as "AI and Public Innovation," "Physical AI," and "AI Humanomics."
Gyeonggi Province is leading AI policy by establishing the nation’s first dedicated AI department and implementing the "Gyeonggi Province AI Registration System" to transparently manage the use of artificial intelligence in the public sector.
