He was recognized for his contributions to the advancement of welding technology and the cultivation of talent, thereby contributing to the development of South Korea's welding industry.
Professor Park is an expert in intelligent welding and automation. He has led research in various fields, including the advancement of welding and joining processes, advanced material joining technology, and AI-based welding process control, strengthening the competitiveness of the domestic manufacturing industry.

At the 5th Welding Day ceremony, a total of 15 awards were presented to organization representatives, including Professor Park and Professor Cho Sangmyung, CEO of Starwelds, who also received a Ministerial Commendation from the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy.
