The "Miracle of a Cup of Coffee" is a challenge held in conjunction with Uijeongbu City's signature donation campaign, "100-Day Love Relay Baton Passing." Participants donate an amount equivalent to the price of a cup of coffee, upload a verification photo to their personal social media accounts (such as Instagram or Facebook), and then nominate the next participant. This is a citizen-driven micro-donation campaign.
Private Co-Chair Yoon Yeonhee said, "This challenge is not just a donation campaign, but a participatory movement in which citizens themselves create a culture of sharing. The participation of each and every citizen will become a spark of hope and, I believe, create a true miracle."
Mayor Kim Donggeun stated, "When the cost of a cup of coffee is gathered together, it can become the strength that supports someone's life. I hope that the warm participation of many will help make Uijeongbu City a place where no one is left behind."
