View original imageAt the opening ceremony of the "2025 Women Leaders Forum" held at the Crystal Ballroom of Lotte Hotel Sogong-dong, Seoul, on the morning of November 6, Jang Beomsik, CEO of The Asia Business Daily, defined women's leadership in this era of great transformation and signaled the start of the forum.
Jang emphasized, "We are facing an era of great transformation, where every sector-including industry, technology, environment, and population-is undergoing rapid change," adding, "Women's leadership is the driving force that will lead this immense wave of change."
He continued, "Each and every one of you here today is a leader of this great transition, shaping a new future for Korea," and expressed his hope that "this forum will become a platform for solidarity, where wisdom and experience are shared across generations and fields."
Jang also stated, "The Asia Business Daily will fulfill its responsibility as a media outlet to ensure that women's leadership extends beyond individual growth to drive innovation in businesses and society," and added, "We will be a steadfast partner in your challenges and journeys."

This year's forum is themed "Women Leading the Great Transition." The keynote address was delivered by Anne Kari Hansen Ovind, Norwegian Ambassador to Korea, followed by speeches from renowned female leaders such as Yoo Myunghee, Visiting Professor at the Graduate School of International Studies at Seoul National University; Moon Aeri, President of the Korea Foundation for Women in Science, Engineering and Technology; and Lee Yeonsoo, CEO of NC AI, who explored the direction of leadership in this era of change.
The forum was organized to redefine the role and direction of "women's leadership" amid the ongoing waves of artificial intelligence and technological innovation, demographic shifts, and environmental crises.
