Home&Shopping Introduces 'Aplus AI' to Strengthen Search and Short-Form Content Competitiveness
Adopting Buzzni's AI Solutions
Home&Shopping announced on November 6 that it will join forces with Buzzni, an artificial intelligence (AI)-based commerce technology company, to drive innovation in shopping through the use of AI technology.
Buzzni is a leading domestic AI company that has been researching and developing commerce AI technology for 15 years. Through its 'Aplus AI', it provides e-commerce-specialized AI features such as search AI, recommendation AI, chatbots, product summarization, automatic catalog generation, and review analysis. The technologies that Home&Shopping is introducing this time are twofold: 'search AI' and 'short-form AI'.
The search AI analyzes users' click and purchase histories to provide results optimized for their search intent. This is expected to increase the accuracy and coverage of product searches and maximize purchase conversion rates. In addition, the short-form AI analyzes images, audio, and subtitles simultaneously from home shopping broadcast videos to automatically extract highlight segments, and then uses AI to re-edit them into short-form videos. With this, Home&Shopping will be able to quickly produce and utilize short, impactful videos from long-form broadcast content, thereby strengthening customer engagement through mobile and social media channels.

A Home&Shopping representative stated, "With the AI product recommendation feature, it will become easier to find similar products and minimize failed searches, which is expected to lead to increased sales. We also plan to expand the application of AI to more areas in collaboration with Buzzni."
