During the competition, one top scorer was selected in each category-three in total-as the KOSME Person of the Year. The selection was based on a combination of real-time online voting by all employees, evaluations by the 'KOSME Field Evaluation Team' consisting of 30 internal and external experts, and mobile evaluations by the 'National Participation Group,' which included members of the public and small business owners.
The main evaluation criteria focused on tangible results in the field, such as the provision of customized policy services for users, contributions to improving the agency's productivity and efficiency, and the spread and sustainability of innovation.
In the management innovation category, Kim Taehun, Manager of the Planning and Coordination Office, was recognized for efforts to maintain the soundness of the SME Fund. In the business innovation category, Kim Yeji, Deputy General Manager of the Overseas Expansion Business Department, was selected for establishing a customized support system for companies affected by customs duties. In the field innovation category, Seo Taeyang, Manager of the Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters, was chosen for leading the '5G Project' to boost the region's key industries.
