The administrative affairs audit is a core legislative activity through which the council, as the representative body of the residents, monitors and checks the administration of the executive branch. Through this audit, the council points out and demands corrections for administrative shortcomings, collects necessary data and information, and reflects these findings in future budget reviews and policy decisions.
Last year, the provincial council conducted the administrative affairs audit on 88 institutions, resulting in 633 requests and recommendations for correction. This year, the audit will also review the implementation and handling of those correction requests.
