Future Technology Contest Open to Full-Time Faculty Members
Hyundai Motor Group is seeking innovative ideas to lead the future mobility market.

View original imageEligible applicants are full-time faculty members currently employed at domestic or international universities as of this month. The contest covers 11 topics, including electrification, batteries, hydrogen fuel cells, and autonomous driving. Applicants can select a topic of interest and submit a proposal.
Hyundai Motor Group plans to conduct an in-depth evaluation by a panel of judges composed of automotive industry and academic experts, and will announce the final results in March next year. Outstanding projects selected as finalists will receive up to 60 million KRW in research funding, and successful applicants will conduct research to verify the technical feasibility of their proposed ideas over approximately eight months.
Hyundai Motor Group will support its researchers in participating as mentoring partners for the successful applicants and will operate programs to ensure that university research outcomes are actively utilized in the industry. Applicants who achieve meaningful results will also have the opportunity to conduct advanced research projects together with researchers from Hyundai Motor and Kia.
