Hangang Bus Resumes Operations: Improved Punctuality on First Day
34 Days After Switching to No-Passenger Trial Runs
First Bus Now Departs at 9 a.m., Improved Punctuality
After 34 days of trial runs without passengers, Hangang Bus officially resumed operations on the 1st.
According to Seoul City, 41 citizens boarded at Jamsil Pier and 26 at Magok Pier, which were the first departure points on this day. From November 1, Hangang Bus is available from 9:00 a.m. to 9:37 p.m. (last arrival) at both Jamsil and Magok Piers.

Bus No. 102, which departed from Jamsil at 9:00 a.m., arrived at Oksu Station at 9:37 a.m. and departed at 9:39 a.m. At Yeouido Pier, passengers were picked up and the bus departed for the next stop, Mangwon, at exactly 10:23 a.m.
This improvement in punctuality is due to enhanced safety and docking skills developed during the month-long training period. Like city buses, the vessels now dock in a straight line at the piers, stop, and depart again, reducing docking time at each pier.
In addition, as staff proficiency in safety management, boarding registration guidance, and in-transit announcements has improved, passenger satisfaction is also increasing.
