The RISE Headquarters at Hallym University (President Choi Yanghee) held the "Digital Transformation Forum of Gangwon Biohealth Industry" at Sejong Hotel in Chuncheon on October 29.

View original imageThis forum was jointly organized by the Hallym University RISE Project 1-1 (Biohealth, ICT Unit Project) and the Gangwon Hupyeong Smart Manufacturing Advanced Talent Training Project Group. In particular, it aimed to share the latest technological trends in response to the digital transformation of the biohealth industry, discover joint projects through the establishment of an industry-academia-government cooperation system, and lay the foundation for a sustainable Gangwon-style healthcare ecosystem.
The event featured a variety of programs, including special lectures by experts in the biohealth and digital fields, an introduction to the Hallym University RISE Project and AI-Bio R&BD Center, presentations on the application of AI-based diagnostic and prediction systems, and panel discussions. Presenters emphasized not only technical challenges but also issues such as data security and privacy, as well as the need for talent development.
