The 'KISD AWARDS' is an international design competition organized by the Korean Institute of Spatial Design and supported by the Korea Institute of Design Promotion, the Korean Association of Spatial Design, and the Korea Housing Welfare Culture Association, among others. It is a contest that showcases creative ideas in various fields such as interior architectural design, industrial spatial design, universal design, and AI & future environment innovation design.

Min-Kyung Kim, head of the department, said, "It is very meaningful that our students' design capabilities, developed through coursework and studio projects, have been recognized at an international competition. We will continue to provide guidance so that students can further develop their creative design thinking and practical sense."
