Gyeonggi Province to Support Overseas Expansion of AI Startups with Competency Enhancement Program
Gyeonggi Province is set to support the overseas expansion of artificial intelligence (AI) startups.
On October 31, Gyeonggi Province and the Gyeonggi Business & Science Accelerator announced that they will actively promote the 'AI Global Competency Enhancement Program.' The initiative aims to help local companies build collaborative ecosystems with global big tech firms, leading to substantive exchanges and successful investment attraction.
Previously, in September and October, Gyeonggi Province partnered with global companies such as Salesforce, NVIDIA, and Google to operate the AI Company Global Value-Up Program (September 8-13) and the NGG (NVIDIA Gyeonggi Growth, October 12-19) Program.
Participating companies expressed their anticipation for ongoing support, stating, "If follow-up connections such as overseas PoC, joint development, and local partnership matching continue, it could not only advance our technology but also lead to global sales."
Based on the global cooperation demand identified through this initiative, Gyeonggi Province plans to strengthen its post-growth support system by providing support for participation in NVIDIA GTC 2026, facilitating investment attraction through connections with global big tech firms such as Salesforce and Google, and offering consulting for localization and PoC demonstration for AI companies.
