Toward Win-Win Cooperation Between Korean and Chinese Companies
The Chilgok County trade delegation from North Gyeongsang Province visited the Shenzhen Automotive Electronics Industry Association in China on October 29 to gain insights into the current state of China's automotive industry, which is leading the global electric vehicle market, and to promote exchange and cooperation between companies from both regions.
The meeting was attended by Kim Jaeuk, Mayor of Chilgok County, Lee Sangseung, Chairman of the County Council, Oh Jongyeol, County Council member, and representatives of local automotive-related companies.
On the Shenzhen side, 13 participants-including senior officials from the Bureau of Commerce and association representatives-provided a detailed 90-minute introduction to the structure of the Chinese automotive industry and the status of major companies.

Through this visit, Chilgok County was able to directly observe the rapid changes in the electric vehicle industry and the direction of future technological development.
After the association’s presentation, the Chilgok County trade delegation introduced the technological capabilities and production competitiveness of local automotive parts companies.
Local entrepreneurs and buyers engaged in active Q&A sessions, exploring the potential for practical cooperation.
Kim Byungsoo, CEO of JNS Co., Ltd., said, "Seeing the pace and scale of China’s electric vehicle industry firsthand made me realize how quickly the global market is being reshaped. I hope that, through this exchange, companies from both countries will strengthen technological cooperation and develop into practical partners who can truly benefit each other."
Both sides agreed to use this meeting as an opportunity to strengthen technological cooperation and human exchange in the automotive parts industry and to jointly create a sustainable win-win model.
