SK Innovation has reorganized its management structure through the regular 2026 executive appointments. In March next year, Jang Yongho, the General Manager, will be appointed as CEO, officially establishing a co-CEO system with Choo Hyungwook, who has been serving as co-CEO since May this year.
On October 30, SK Innovation announced, "Jang Yongho will be appointed as CEO, and a co-CEO system will be established with CEO Choo." SK Innovation plans to pursue key initiatives such as strengthening fundamental competitiveness and improving its financial structure under the leadership of the co-CEOs.
Jang Yongho, the General Manager, is scheduled to become the CEO of SK Innovation in March next year.
View original imageOn the same day, SK On, the battery subsidiary, will hold a board meeting in the afternoon to appoint Lee Yongwook, CEO of SK Siltron, as its new President. As a result, President Lee Seokhee and President Lee Yongwook will establish a co-CEO system. President Lee Yongwook will oversee all aspects of manufacturing and operations, while President Lee Seokhee will be responsible for customer management, primarily in North America, and research and development (R&D).
Additionally, Lee Jongsu, Head of the LNG Business Division at SK Innovation E&S, has been newly appointed as President of the E&S Company-in-Company (CIC). He will work to strengthen SK Innovation’s electric energy business capabilities by expanding cooperation between the LNG value chain and existing businesses. CEO Choo Hyungwook will step down from his concurrent role as President of E&S CIC.
