The winners of this year’s grand prize have been selected at the Chung Ju-yung Startup Competition (Jungchangkyung) Demo Day, the largest startup competition in the private sector. The winners are: ‘PulseAd’ in the Global Track, ‘HydroExpand’ in the Climate Tech Track, ‘Yeomyeong Street’ in the Diversity Track, and ‘SnapScale’ in the Pre-Startup Track.
The Asan Nanum Foundation announced on the 29th that it held the Jungchangkyung Demo Day at the Grand Ballroom of COEX in Seoul. This Demo Day was organized to showcase the finalist teams among startups that completed six months of acceleration. Kim Byunghoon, CEO of a leading global beauty company, delivered the keynote speech, stating, “Success is achieved when the will to persevere until the end, the attitude of continuous learning and growth, and the fortune of becoming benefactors to one another all come together. Ultimately, entrepreneurship is a journey of pioneering your own path.”

View original imageIn the subsequent startup pitching session, a total of 23 teams across four tracks-Global, Climate Tech, Diversity, and Pre-Startup-competed on stage. Nine venture capital experts from firms such as SparkLabs, Antler Korea, Envisioning Partners, and Principle Venture Partners participated as judges for each track, evaluating the teams based on criteria such as team capabilities, business models, and entrepreneurial spirit.
Yoon Geoseong, CEO of PulseAd, who won the grand prize in the Global Track, said, “It is a great honor to receive the grand prize at Jungchangkyung, a gateway for startups. I want to express my gratitude to the team members who created ‘PulseAI’ with confidence in our idea. I hope all founders participating in this Demo Day enjoy their own journey of pioneering.”
The Asan Nanum Foundation will provide all teams participating in this year’s Jungchangkyung with benefits such as the opportunity to use short-term office space at MARU, an entrepreneurship platform and incubator, investor referrals, one-on-one mentoring, and corporate partnership benefits worth a total of 1.4 billion won.
