Donghae City to Ease Management Burden for Small Businesses with Credit Card Fee Support... Up to 200,000 Won Rebate
Donghae City in Gangwon Province announced on October 29 that it will implement the '2025 Small Business Credit Card Fee Support Program' to ease the management burden on local small business owners.
This program targets small businesses in Donghae City with annual sales of 300 million won or less, providing cash support equivalent to 0.5% of their 2024 credit card sales (up to a maximum of 200,000 won). The subsidy will be deposited directly into the small business owner's account, and even if one person operates multiple businesses, only one business is eligible for support.
The application period runs from November 3 to November 28, and support will be provided to the first 500 applicants on a first-come, first-served basis until the budget is exhausted. Applications must be submitted in person at the administrative welfare center in the business’s area.
Applicants must submit the following documents: an application form for the support program, proof of 2024 sales and credit card sales, and a consent form for the collection and use of personal information. Detailed information can be found in the notice section of the Donghae City Hall website.
The city expects this support to help alleviate the burden of credit card fees and establish a stable business foundation for micro-enterprises.
