Hankook Tire Signs Official Sponsorship with U.S. "Tomorrow's Golf League"
Simulation Golf League TGL
Hankook Tire Named Official Tire Partner for Season 2
Hankook Tire & Technology (hereafter Hankook Tire) announced on the 29th that it has signed an official sponsorship agreement with the U.S.-based simulation golf league, Tomorrow's Golf League (TGL).
Through this sponsorship, Hankook Tire will serve as TGL's first official tire partner and founding partner for three years, starting from the league's "Season 2" (2026-2028).
TGL is a golf league co-founded by sports executive Mike McCarley, professional golfer Tiger Woods, and Rory McIlroy. It is a technology-driven tournament that integrates advanced technology, data, and live action into specially designed high-tech arenas, offering differentiated content by adding entertainment elements to traditional golf. As a result, it is rapidly growing as a global sport.
Hankook Tire entered into this sponsorship to provide brand experiences that break the boundaries between mobility and sports for golf enthusiasts of all ages, based on the core value of "technological innovation" that both Hankook Tire and TGL share.
Through this sponsorship, Hankook Tire plans to showcase its global unified brand, "Hankook," on digital billboards inside the SoFi Center where TGL Season 2 will be held, as well as through TV commercials and game broadcasts. The strategy is to enhance its status as a premium brand among fans in North America and around the world.
Lee Sanghoon, CEO of Hankook Tire, stated, "By joining forces with TGL, which is opening new horizons in sports entertainment, Hankook Tire will further expand its innovative technology and premium brand value, solidifying its leadership as a global mobility industry leader."
TGL Season 2 will kick off with its opening match on December 28 (local time) and will run through March next year, featuring a total of 15 rounds. Twenty-four active PGA golfers across six teams will compete fiercely for the championship.
