Best Visuals and Sound in 23 Years
The Lord of the Rings trilogy, released 23 years ago, is returning with the highest quality visuals and sound.
On October 29, Megabox announced that it will re-release The Lord of the Rings trilogy in Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos formats starting November 5. This marks the first time the trilogy will be screened in Dolby formats in Korea, following the 4K remastered version released in 2021.
The re-release schedule begins with The Fellowship of the Ring on November 5, followed by The Two Towers in early December, and The Return of the King in early January next year. Audiences can enjoy the films at Megabox Dolby Cinema and Dolby Vision+Atmos theaters.
Dolby Vision enhances contrast and color, delivering even more immersive epic battle scenes and sweeping landscapes.
