SBI Savings Bank announced on the 28th that it has relocated and reopened its Daegu branch in Dongseong-ro, a key commercial district.

View original imageThe branch is connected to Jungangno Station on Daegu Subway Line 1 via an underground passage, making it more convenient for customers from nearby areas such as Jung-gu and Suseong-gu to visit.
The opening ceremony held the previous day was attended by Kim Moonseok, CEO of SBI Savings Bank, Vice President Chris, other executives and staff, as well as Cho Gyusik, Vice President in charge of channels at Kyobo Life Insurance, and Nam Sungho, Head of the Southern Business Division at Kyobo Book Centre.
To celebrate the relocation and reopening, SBI Savings Bank is hosting a variety of customer events, including a social media event, a special promotion offering double the regular savings interest rate, and an asset management seminar.
The social media event runs until the 28th of next month. Customers who take a photo of the special promotion banner for regular savings posted at the Daegu branch of SBI Savings Bank and the Daegu and Chilgok branches of Kyobo Book Centre and share it on social media will receive a 1,000-won Kyobo Book Centre book cash voucher. This reward will be given to 1,000 participants. Additionally, 1,000 customers who hold a Cider Checking Account will receive a Starbucks Americano.
The special promotion offering double the regular savings interest rate is available exclusively to customers who open a Cider Checking Account through the Cider Bank application and make a qualifying purchase at Kyobo Book Centre from the previous day onwards.
Customers who meet both conditions can subscribe to the product at an annual interest rate of 7.2%. Only 1,000 accounts will be offered until the 28th of next month. The subscription period is 12 months, and the monthly deposit limit is 300,000 won.
