These organizations showcased their social economy products and services to citizens, contributing to the revitalization of the local economy and the spread of ethical consumption culture.
True to the name "Giver Market," meaning a market for people who share, this event provided a venue for social economy enterprises to meet citizens directly, introduce their products, and share social values. The event offered a variety of programs, including product promotion and sales, a fair trade promotion booth, and booths operated by local small business owners and related organizations.
In particular, events such as giving out insulated bags to customers who made purchases of over 10,000 won and providing discount coupons to participants of the social economy stamp tour received a great response from citizens. Local organizations and youth, including the Yangju Volunteer Center, Yangju Women's New Work Center, Seojeong University, Korea Culinary Science High School, and Yangju High School, also participated, further highlighting the spirit of community solidarity.
In addition to performances by "Moeojjeong" and "DJ Dance Fit," the event featured lively shows by the Okjeong 2-dong Life Dance Team, Yangju 2-dong Sports Drum Team, and Nam-myeon Disco Janggu Team, all connected to Yangju's residents' self-governing associations, adding to the festive atmosphere.
