Over 50 Companies Attend to Explore Potential Partnerships
Daejeon City has arranged an event to identify potential partner companies for collaboration with Honeywell, a U.S. multinational defense company.
On October 27, Daejeon City, in cooperation with the Defense Acquisition Program Administration, held an offset trade business briefing session for Honeywell at the 10th-floor conference room of Daejeon Technopark D-station.
This briefing session was organized to introduce Honeywell's offset trade implementation projects to domestic companies and to identify potential partners for collaboration. More than 50 innovative companies, including outstanding domestic small and medium-sized enterprises, attended the event.
Honeywell, an American multinational defense company specializing in aircraft electronic equipment and radar manufacturing, presented various areas for potential cooperation, including mechanical processing, manufacturing and alloying, composites (technology), mechanical assembly, and electronics. The company also conducted one-on-one consultations with participating firms to explore future collaboration opportunities with Honeywell.
