This initiative is regarded as the first attempt in South Korea to cultivate practical, industry-ready professionals in the rapidly growing sleep industry sector.
During the field class held on October 23, students participated in hands-on programs such as polysomnography, gait analysis, and sleep product testing.
On this day, students expressed high satisfaction as they experienced industry-level training by operating actual equipment, analyzing data, and applying physical therapy techniques.
The launch of this course is a strategic move by Sunmoon University to lead the field of "Sleep Physical Therapy," which is still unfamiliar in Korea but already has established guidelines in advanced countries such as the United States and Brazil. The university is presenting a new treatment paradigm that goes beyond simply treating sleep disorders by integrating physical therapy.

Meanwhile, Sunmoon University and KTC plan to promote various collaborative projects, including short-term corporate training programs, rehabilitation healthcare forums, and government-industry linked R&D projects.
