Changwon Facilities Corporation Obtains Business Continuity Management System Certification
On October 27, the Changwon Facilities Corporation in South Gyeongsang Province announced that it has newly obtained certification for the Business Continuity Management System (ISO 22301) from the Korea Management Registrar (KMR).
ISO 22301 is a standard established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). It is awarded after an assessment of whether a systematic system is in place to restore normal operations within a set recovery time, even in the event of business interruptions caused by emergencies such as disasters or calamities.
To strengthen safety management against various disasters, the corporation has established a Business Continuity Plan (BCP) under the direction of the Audit and Safety Office since January of this year, and has built a company-wide disaster safety response system.
