Jung Yongpyo, CEO of KAM Co., Ltd., has been awarded an honorary doctorate in engineering from Pukyong National University (President Bae Sanghoon).
Pukyong National University announced on the 24th that it had conferred the honorary doctorate in engineering upon CEO Jung.
The degree conferment ceremony took place that afternoon at the Pukyong Convention Hall, attended by President Bae Sanghoon, Kim Youngsik, Chairman of the Kim Youngsik Foundation for Supporting Families with Three Children, Park Seho, President of the Alumni Association, and other distinguished guests.

Jung Yongpyo graduated from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Pukyong National University in 1979. Since founding KAM Co., Ltd. in 1997, he has led the advancement of Korea’s aerospace industry by exporting aluminum and titanium aircraft components to global companies such as Boeing and Airbus.
In addition to his achievements as an entrepreneur, he is also acknowledged as a respected leader who has promoted sharing and mutual growth within the local community, thereby contributing to regional development.
Furthermore, as an alumnus of Pukyong National University, he served as the 12th President of the Alumni Association, successfully leading alumni exchange events and dedicating himself to fostering unity among alumni and the advancement of the university.
