[Weather] Clear Skies Nationwide, Clouds Increasing in the Afternoon... Seoul Low at 10 Degrees
On Friday, the 24th, the weather will be mostly clear across the country, but clouds will gradually increase from the afternoon.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, morning lows are forecast to range from 8 to 15 degrees Celsius, and daytime highs from 13 to 24 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperatures in major regions are as follows: Seoul 10 degrees, Incheon 10 degrees, Suwon 10 degrees, Chuncheon 9 degrees, Gangneung 11 degrees, Daejeon 10 degrees, Gwangju 12 degrees, Daegu 10 degrees, Busan 15 degrees, and Jeju 18 degrees.
The high in Seoul will reach 20 degrees, showing mild weather similar to the previous day.
Rain is expected in the Yeongdong region of Gangwon and the east coast of North Gyeongsang Province. In particular, very heavy rain of 20 to 30 millimeters per hour is expected in some areas of Gangwon Yeongdong from early morning to late morning. Occasional rain is also expected in parts of Busan and Ulsan.
The expected precipitation is as follows: Gangwon Yeongdong 20 to 80 millimeters (with more than 100 millimeters possible in northern Gangwon Yeongdong), less than 5 millimeters in Gangwon Yeongseo, 5 to 20 millimeters on the east coast of North Gyeongsang Province, and 5 millimeters in Busan and Ulsan.
Waves in the sea are expected to reach 1.0 to 3.5 meters off the east coast, 0.5 to 1.0 meters off the west coast, and 0.5 to 2.5 meters off the south coast. In the open sea, about 200 kilometers from the coastline, wave heights are predicted to be 1.5 to 4.0 meters in the East Sea, 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the West Sea, and 1.0 to 3.5 meters in the South Sea.
