by Partnering with Your Neighborhood Platform"
Why did Busan City visit Danggeun Market?
On October 22, at 2:10 p.m., Busan City (Mayor Park Hyungjoon) announced that it had signed a "business agreement for the realization of a warm community-based 15-Minute City" with Danggeun Market Co., Ltd. (CEO Hwang Doyeon) at the Danggeun Market headquarters in Seocho-gu, Seoul.
The signing ceremony was attended by Seong Heeyeop, Deputy Mayor of Future Innovation of Busan City, and Hwang Doyeon, CEO of Danggeun Market.
This agreement was promoted as the goals of Busan's "15-Minute City Busan" policy, which aims to realize a warm community, align with the vision of Danggeun Market, a lifestyle and community platform for your neighborhood.

Busan City will continue to operate community programs using local administration and public resources to realize a 15-Minute City based on a warm community. Danggeun Market will plan and provide services that promote interaction among residents, focusing on community and group features.
The city expects this agreement to further materialize the 15-Minute City policy. In particular, by collaborating with a major platform that has accumulated 43 million registered users and over 20 million monthly active users, policies that citizens can directly experience are anticipated.
Busan City was the first in Korea to introduce the 15-Minute City policy in 2021, and in May 2025, it was introduced as a best practice for responding to regional extinction by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). It has also gained international attention, being presented as an exemplary city at the "Towards Sustainable Proximity" international conference held in Paris, France, in September.
