Gwangju-based AI startups gathered with investors to showcase their technological capabilities and business models, launching efforts to attract large-scale investments.

View original imageThe Gwangju Metropolitan Government and the Artificial Intelligence Industry Convergence Project Group announced that they held the investment attraction briefing session for the 12th AI Partnership Day on October 22 at the conference hall of the Startup Building in the AI Convergence Complex, Cheomdan 3 District, Gwangju. The event was attended by 12 AI companies from the Gwangju region, 31 venture capital (VC) and accelerator (AC) firms from across the country, as well as officials from related organizations.
The participating companies included Ample Lab, Banya AI, Haemoa DX, ShareFlat, Cubeberry, DSCL, Mindspace, Ilio, Tanalysis, Intflow, Aidol, and Space AI. They introduced a range of technologies such as AI-based MES, logistics automation, sleep wearables, generative chatbots, and autonomous robots.
The event featured company IR pitches and one-on-one investment consultations with 24 investment firms, significantly increasing the potential for actual investment. At the exhibition and demo booths set up in the lobby, investors were able to experience the products and services firsthand.
An official from one of the investment firms commented, "The technological prowess and business models of Gwangju AI companies were very impressive," adding, "There were many promising companies with the potential to secure real investments."
